Renting an Apartment in Singer Island

What You Should Know

Singer Island is located in the southeast region of Palm Beach County, Florida, in the South Florida metropolitan area. The latitude of Singer Island is 26.784N. The longitude is -80.037W. It is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).

Named after the Singer Sewing Machine founder, Singer Island has parks, marinas, hiking and bike paths, as well as 47 miles of sparkling white sand beaches[1] that has been considered one of the the top five beaches in Palm Beach County. Other attractions include a drive-through safari, a zoo, science museum, boat rides and citrus grove trolley rides.

In addition, Singer Island is located three miles (4.2 km) to North Palm Beach, 5.4 miles (8.6 km) to West Palm Beach, 5.4 miles (8.6 km) to Palm Beach Gardens, 6.2 miles (10 km) to Juno Beach, and 10.6 miles (17 km) to Jupiter.

It is said that Singer Island was originally purchased by its namesake as a gift for his mistress, who reportedly did not like it. Today it is a picturesque, upscale and pristine living place for thousands of condo owners. The most famous, and tallest, of these is the approximately 46-storey tall "The Tiara", said to be the tallest building on sand in the United States. This building was hit by several hurricanes since 2004 and is still closed for repairs after 3 years.
